Well Riegel is back...yo Baxter, and Carlson I have a great couple of questions for you...If this proposed Health Care Program that the big O is trying to shove down everyones throat, then I would assume that he and every government worker, including Congress, would abandon the one they are on and go on the same plan as he is telling the American people they have to go on....second...If this man was a true stand up guy why does he not have Queen Nancy P. Barney Frank..Cris Dodd...Tim the Tax Cheat G. in front of his desk and demanding that these issues from the CIA to Great rates on mortages, to not paying your tax's until caught...and cooking the books at FANIE and FREDIE are cleared up...that is of course you believe the guy is a stand up guy

Financial Clowns

Housing Market Question....good morning to all, and here is the BIG question. If our former Fed Chairman and our present Fed Chairman are so fregging smart, and the big number gurus, then why back in the Clinton years "when they thought everyone should have a home" and came out with these great sub prime loans didn't Mr. Greenspan stand up and say "What are you guys thinking" this will lead to a huge disaster in the future. That also goes for the current Fed Chairman, he should have been standing on the table jumping up and down saying WHOA Big Fella.
Now the same thing applies to the Detroit Auto Makers...most of the political dip'os want to bail out an industry that has NEVER made a penny, and they have been doing it for 4 decades, what would make anyone think they can turn it around now...and by the way where is the list of concessions those union boys want to give up to make it work....think about this....GM, FORD, Chrysler...benefits per car cost...around 1600.00 (union) Toyota...under 300.00 non union, and do you see Toyota asking for a bail out...wake up America

Your Fat

OK I am hot...how about this obesity thing of our children 10 years old and under...some of these kids have the arteries of a 45 year old in their first decade of life...what happened to having physical education in our public school system...in other words get off you butts school administrators and get Phys Ed back in the system so kids can work out 1 hour per day at school. And while you are at it how about getting a good diet program in the school system, of course that is right after at your PTA meetings you tell the parents that you kid is fat and in danger of having BIG problems later in life...

Who should we really be electing

Has anyone given some thought to who we should be electing in this country...The current candidates, McCain and Obama are running for President...but they really have two things they can do...1. Be a figure head for our country which is good...2. Have vito power. It is the congress who runs the country, makes the decisions and policies, and tells you and me what we can and can't do. But how many of us really know what these people stand for. Maybe we should be putting the congressmen and women under the same microscope that we put the presidential candidates...lets find out where they stand on health care, abortion, drilling, social security reform, changing our tax codes and structures etc etc etc. After all these are the people that are making decisions for you and I...and by the way in many cases not such good ones....example...drilling for oil in this country...75+%of the American people want to drill for oil in Alaska and or Off shore...is your Congress listening to you...don't think so as they are on vacation...and please remember they will not make a decision until after the election, why...because if they vote no to drilling the people in their districts will vote them out of office, and then they would not have that great cush iejob they currently have with all those wonderful benefits...makes me sick
